Men's Retreat
Men typically don't slow down and do something for themselves as much as they should. Between the weight of their jobs and work, the demands of family, and the relentless pace of everyday life, it is easy to lose sight of who you are becoming. A men's retreat is one of the most powerful decisions a man can make for his life, his faith, and his family.
Heritage offers 200 acres of peaceful rural land in Georgia where men can step away from daily life and embark on a journey toward clarity, healing, and renewed purpose. Whether you are seeking a Christian men's retreat rooted in faith and worship, or a weekday or weekend alongside like-minded men to dive deep into the questions that matter most, Heritage provides the perfect setting for a retreat that changes how you see yourself and the world.

A Setting Built for the Journey
Heritage is a great place for men to do the deep work that ordinary life rarely makes room for. Set on 200 acres of nature, this retreat destination in Georgia gives men the space to break free from routine, reconnect with God, and reflect without distraction. The prayer gardens, walking trails, and historic grounds invite a pace where the soul can finally breathe. Heritage has built a culture of brotherhood and genuine hospitality that every person who joins us feels from the very first moment.
Rooted in Christian heritage and open to all men whose use of our facilities honors Christian sensibilities and aligns with our mission, Heritage welcomes every men's retreat with warmth and intention. The Church of the Purification, dating to the late 1700s, adds a spiritual depth that other venues simply cannot offer.
Why Men Need to Retreat: The Benefits of Stepping Away
A men's retreat offers something that daily life consistently withholds: uninterrupted time to focus on self, seek God, and reconnect with what truly matters. Time spent away from routine reduces stress, sharpens personal clarity, and produces transformation that men carry into every area of life. For any man who has felt the weight of going it alone, joining a men's retreat may be the most helpful and healing thing he does all year.
Shared worship, fellowship, and reflection in a retreat setting build bonds of brotherhood that go far deeper than a Sunday morning gathering. Men who come on retreat together return with deeper faith, stronger hope, and a renewed joy they carry back into their families, their work, and their world.
- Restores clarity, focus, and a renewed sense of personal purpose and direction
- Deepens faith and spiritual growth through worship, prayer, and fellowship
- Builds lasting bonds of brotherhood among like-minded men
- Supports healing and rest through nature, movement, and nourishing meals
- Creates life-changing experiences that men carry into every area of their lives

What to Expect at Your Men's Retreat at Heritage
A typical men's retreat weekend at Heritage begins on Friday evening with check-in, a shared meal, and a welcome session to help each man transition away from the weight of everyday life. From there, the retreat unfolds in a natural rhythm, fellowship, free time on our grounds, and quiet evenings around the fire pits. Sunday morning wraps up with a closing fellowship and a relaxed departure. Men leave grounded and ready to re-enter the world carrying something they did not arrive with.
Whether your retreat weekend includes worship and teaching, yoga retreats-style movement practices, leadership workshops, or simply open time to rest and connect with other men in nature, Heritage provides the flexibility and space to make it your own. Groups can also organize team challenges for those who want to add some energy and joy to their time together.
