A Setting Built for Every Generation
Heritage is a place where every generation finds something meaningful. Younger kids can explore trails, play on open grounds, and discover the wonder of nature, while adults gather around the fire pits or relax in the courtyard. The 200-acre property gives the extended family room to breathe, wander, and create shared memories that will last well past the reunion itself.
Rooted in Christian heritage and open to all families, Heritage welcomes every group so long as the use of our facilities honors Christian sensibilities and aligns with our mission. The historic Church of the Purification, the prayer gardens, and the quiet beauty of the grounds add a layer of meaning that goes beyond fun. Many families find it naturally inspires reflection on faith, traditions, and the ties that connect generations.
Reconnect With Your Roots: The Benefits of Gathering as a Family
Family reunions do more than fill a calendar date. They give kids a chance to know their cousins, grandkids a chance to hear stories from the past, and adults a reason to step away from their routines and reconnect with family ties. Research consistently shows that families who gather regularly build stronger bonds, pass down traditions more effectively, and give younger generations a deeper sense of identity and belonging.
A reunion is one of the most powerful opportunities a family has to preserve its history. When relatives gather in the same place, family stories that might otherwise be forgotten get told and retold. Family history becomes real to younger generations. Family traditions get passed on through shared experience. Heritage, with its own deep roots in Georgia history dating back to the late 1700s, is a fitting place to honor where your family has been and imagine where it is going.
Every family hopes to create lasting memories that outlast the reunion itself. At Heritage, the combination of open space, historic grounds, and unhurried time together makes that possible. Whether your family gathers to play games, fishing at the pond, share meals, walk the trails, or simply sit and talk, the memories made here tend to be the kind that carry forward for generations.
- Strengthens bonds across generations, from grandkids to grandparents
- Preserves family history, stories, and traditions through shared experience
- Creates quality time for relatives who rarely get to spend time together
- Gives kids and adults a shared identity rooted in family and faith
- Builds lasting memories that extend well beyond the reunion weekend

What to Expect at Your Family Reunion at Heritage
A typical family reunion weekend at Heritage begins on Friday evening with check-in, a shared dinner, and that first wave of hugs and hellos as relatives arrive from near and far. From there, the weekend opens up naturally — kids exploring the trails and fishing at the pond, adults catching up over coffee in the courtyard or gathering around the fire pits in the evening, and everyone coming together for chef-prepared meals in the Great Room. Sunday wraps up with a relaxed morning, a final meal together, and the kind of goodbye that already has people asking when the next reunion will be.
Whether your family prefers a packed schedule of games, group photos, and organized activities or a more open weekend where everyone simply enjoys being together, Heritage provides the space and flexibility to support however your family likes to gather. The 200-acre property gives every generation room to do their own thing while the shared spaces — from the historic grounds and prayer gardens to the pond house and screened porch — naturally draw everyone back together for the moments that matter most.
