The heart of Heritage is 7,500 square feet of meeting, fellowship, and worship space nestled among the tall Georgia pines and surrounded by our charming cottages. It is where groups gather, share meals, and settle in together.

Built by Georgia's first Catholic congregation, the Church of the Purification of the Blessed Virgin Mary stands as a quiet symbol of resilience — a haven that has weathered seasons of both flourishing and decline, yet endured.
Established 1790
The resting place of many of Georgia's earliest Catholic settlers. Listed in the National Register of Historic Places, this tranquil ground offers a sacred space for prayer and reflection.

You don't need to book an overnight stay to visit. The prayer gardens, retreat grounds, Church of the Purification, and Locust Grove Cemetery are open to visitors. Get in touch before you come so we can welcome you properly.
