We are seeking a dependable and service-oriented Food & Beverage Associate to support dining operations at Heritage. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hospitality, teamwork, and creating a welcoming environment through attentive service, food preparation, and maintaining a clean dining area.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepare, serve, and present food and beverages (including coffee, refreshments, and occasional alcoholic beverages) in a timely and professional manner
- Set up, maintain, and reset dining areas, beverage stations, and buffets for meals, retreats, and special events
- Clear dishes, sanitize tables, and restock service items such as napkins, cups, cutlery, condiments, and supplies
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining, kitchen, storage, and preparation areas; clean and sanitize equipment and workstations
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, health code, and personal hygiene standards, including temperature monitoring when required
- Prepare and pack breakfast bags (including fruit and baked items) accurately and on schedule
- Follow retreat occupancy and prepare meals for guests as required
- Monitor, rotate, and maintain inventory of food, kitchen, and hospitality supplies; restock coolers/shelves and report low stock to supervisors
- Organize walk-in cooler and maintain safety practices, including labeling, removing expired items, and routine cleaning
- Assist supervisors and team members to ensure smooth operations, excellent guest service, and successful retreat/event execution
Requirements:
- Commitment to the Heritage vision, mission, and core values
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
- Ability to communicate clearly and work effectively as part of a team
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to stand and remain on your feet for extended periods
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices (ServSafe certification a plus)
- Work experience in a commercial kitchen
- Availability to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and special events as needed
