We seek to develop and encourage our children’s Catholic heritage by:

• Being rooted in the Sacraments and rich prayer life of the Catholic church.

• Facilitating enrichment activities at Heritage Preserve and surrounding communities.

• Allowing our children to encounter creation through nature study.

• Discovering new skills and handicrafts such as carpentry, gardening, woodsmanship, sewing, and cooking & baking by learning from guest artisans and craftsmen.

• Modeling lives of service by putting faith into action through the:

  • Corporal Works of Mercy: Feed the hungry, give drink to the thirsty, shelter the homeless, clothe the naked, visit the sick, visit the imprisoned.

  • Spiritual Works of Mercy: Counsel the doubtful, instruct the ignorant, admonish the sinner, comfort the sorrowful, forgive injuries, bear wrongs patiently, pray for the living and the dead.

 

Our Sessions:

• We begin with Mass at 9AM in the Church of the Purification of the Blessed Virgin Mary

• Adoration & the Sacrament of Reconciliation offered on First Fridays. 

• After Mass the day continues at Heritage Preserve Retreat Center & Farm

• Guest speakers will present on a variety of topics, as listed in the About section

• Weather permitting, the majority of the day will take place outside, allowing our children to experience nature and God’s creation as an integral part of the learning experience at LGA.

• Our day will conclude at 2PM. 

• Cost per family:  $35 for Fall season OR $10 per session
